Wow. I mean, wow. Emerging from the water, growing among the little monocots, was a huge population of Utricularia multifida. This was frigging spectacular, and sure beat the pants off the quite boring Utricularia "ugly-nosa" we had been seeing a few days earlier, in New South Wales.

Frustratingly, the wind was very high and the sun was burning bright, so the plants were waggling strongly and the images tended to be contrasty. But the views were stunning.
