Darlingtonia pollination studies in 2006

Here is the anthocyanin-free flower in its mature form. Notice there is no speck of red coloration anywhere in the flower. This plant is of interest to horticulturists, so I gave it the horticultural cultivar name Darlingtonia 'Othello', and once--years ago--distributed seed to seedbanks around the world. I do not know if anyone managed to keep their plants alive because Darlingtonia 'Othello' likes such cold conditions.
