While I have worked on many prescribed fires, those were all grassland (fuel model 1) fires, so it was neat to see a fire in a
forest, even though this fire was piddley compared to what Florida fire crews are used to dealing with.
I spent twenty minutes watching
this fire creep along the forest floor.
