Aquatic view!
When photography of aquatic Utricularia is on the menu, I come prepared with my travel aquarium--one of those cheap little 4-liter aquaria you can buy in pet stores for keeping reptiles.

They are surprisingly sturdy, and last for several trips before some accident inevitably kills them.

Filled with clear water carefully pulled from a deeper part of the pond, I used this aquarium to document some of the bladders of this plant.

Here is another bladdery stolon. Notice that these shoots bear bladders, but no other types of leaves.
