Pond depths
In the deeper parts of the pond, snorkeling was more conventional---instead of slowly walking I swam and dove. Even
though I wasn't wearing flippers (I didn't want to cause unnecessary disturbance), moving was much easier.
The plants, at least here, behaved differently. The shoots were more horizontal.
Perhaps because the water was deeper---about 3 meters deep---there were no flowering shoots.
