A chilly spring
Randy took us to another site on Eglin. To get to this place, we had to portage the kayaks a
few hundred yards, but our destination was worth it--a beautiful, deep, cold spring.
This site was frequently used as a swimming and beer-drinking site, which was a pity because the participants left trash everywhere.
Gauging by the brand of beer preferred by the pig-eyed idiots who left their garbage behind, the beer was as
cheap and crappy as I'm sure their drinkers were.
I have no tolerance for people who show no respect for their environment.
We couldn't see the pitcher plants at first, but Randy assured us they were there....
P.S. Like my popped collar? My fashion statement is all about sunburn avoidance. (Speaking of which,
Beth's back still looked like she had suffered phaser fire at close range!)
