Clumps:
It looks like I missed the prime time of the year for these pitchers, as most were crisping.

These plants are being very carefully monitored by many different people. I could tell because just about every clump of plants had monitoring markers--either flags, tape, or permanent rebar stakes. You cannot see this in my pictures because I used clever little tricks to hide all the flags, such as placing dead leaves etc. over all of the markers. But those flags were everywhere.
