Green pitchers:
Although they are slugging it out with so many competing plants, the Sarracenia jonesii were doing well. For your interest here is a wider photograph of the pitchers, and a closer view.

We hiked upstream in this area to see two more reintroduction sites. Both had plants, but none were really of a kind that excited me enough to take photographs.

The day was getting on, but we had another place to visit. This was a pond site that we had both been to before. Again, it was only a few km away, but it involved some very windy roads and a moderate hike to reach.
