A flower!
The Paulos explained that these plants were clearly earlier in the season than those at the Ota site because they are
slightly further north. Indeed, most of the plants had just barely finished flowering, and a few were still bearing yellow
petals. Today, but one flower was open, so I spent time photographing it.
This site was much windier than the previous, so the flower flip-flopped vigorously in the wind. This meant that mostly I
photographed wind, but after enough clicks
of the camera, I got something workable.
