Some gore:
Well, what would be the point of photographing carnivorous plants if I were to fail to show you a few gore shots?

Here is a similar view, but of more of the plant.

It is often remarked that Drosophyllum plants have a strong, honey-sweet smell. That is true. But perhaps because of the large numbers of plants, these plants had a somewhat unpleasant, rotting aroma. Or perhaps I was just lying in the remains of an old dead animal...I cannot be sure. But truly, the smell was not overly pleasing at times.
