The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Southern Spain in 2011

Return to the Trip Overview

What a view!
The site was beautiful, and I spent some time simply walking the slope in exhilaration. The south-facing slope consisted of a dry sandy soil, with many raw chunks of parent sandstone mixed with them. Occasional massive blocks emerged from the ground. The sun was burning bright, although the conditions were not very hot.

I turned my camera to video mode and recorded a few minutes--simply sweeping back and forth, documenting the scene. The video clip below is what I recorded. I decided not to kill the wind noise, because while annoying, I like it more than muting the sound. You can mute it if you wish.
