The flowers of these plants were lovely, with spurs that were striped and tipped with white patches (unlike the coppery-tipped plants we had seen in Portugal).

This photography was challenging but straightforward. In contrast, Beth was going insane trying to photograph butterflies. She has not yet optimized her butterfly photography equipment, and she was getting increasingly frustrated running after skittish dainties.

Better her than me.

Closing up, we eventually found our way back to our car and continued to our next site. Below is a few second video with support footage you might enjoy.
