Plunge into darkness:
Just then, a mighty spaceship
covered the sun, and all around was plummeted into blackness. A single
shaft of light--perhaps a teleportation beam from the underside of the space
craft--jetted down and
illuminated this Utricularia cornuta flower.
Or was it some mighty, biblical moment and God was transporting minions
to the Pine Barrens Christian Living Campground? Something was afoot!
Either that, or I just used my electronic flash to isolate the plant for
this photograph.
