On the other hand, some of the plants were fabulously red in coloration, as in this one.

It was interesting that the different patches of plants had somewhat different colors.
Either the soil and local conditions were inspiring
deeper color in some parts of the colony, or the plants in each patch were all the result of clonal reproduction.
