Sex comments:
I noticed something about the flowers of Sarracenia minor var. okefenokeensis that Schnell did not mention in his description of the variety or in his recent book (Schnell, 2002). While the inflorescences of Sarracenia minor var. minor are about as tall as the pitchers, those of Sarracenia minor var. okefenokeensis are not as tall as the pitchers. Review the last two slides to see this.

Oh, if you look carefully at this photograph, you'll also notice the presence of Sarracenia flava to the rear right (the tall pitchers). This was far more uncommon than Sarracenia minor. All the Sarracenia flava we saw had long finished flowering.
