The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Appalachian Excursion in 2005!

Return to the Trip Overview

A wet day:
A few times, as I photographed, we experienced the dregs of drizzles from the dissipating storm. They provided pretty raindops for the foliage, as well as on my camera gear and the seat of my pants! Here is another view of moistened foliage. I have no photographs of my moistened bum.

We happened to be near the one and only Sarracenia oreophila site remaining in Georgia. So Mandy and I gathered up my gear and trudged back to the car. If the next site was as good as this, the photography opportunities would be fabulous.
