Another clump of Sarracenia.
If you look carefully, you can see the occasional black dot of an enraged
ant--this mound of Sphagnum moss and its pitcher plants housed a large
colony of ants that did not like our being there. It took a while for
them to calm down and (mostly) return underground.
For the record, this and the previous photograph were taken at
the Christian campground.
