As unbelievable as it may seem, we started to get itchy to move on to the next site. This photograph
brings back fond memories of good times with great company and fine plants.
(I can't help it....here is another photograph of some big pitchers....there
was just so much to see!)
We picked our way back along the coast as far as we could, and soon discovered that the tide was coming in. The water was deeper than
before--not by much, perhaps 10 cm--but it was noticeable. We shed our shoes (Phill went barefoot all morning) and continued barefoot
through the shallows.
I was happy to be rejoined with my jacket and its many pieces of identification!
