The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Western Australia in 2007

Return to the Trip Overview

Snoozing:
Ticks and tiger snakes, be damned!

Phill probably had the right idea, and took a snooze while we photographed. I remember him growling at me as I took this; apparently he wasn't quite as asleep as I thought. So Phill, you wondered what I was going to do with this picture?

And so, I draw this trip report to a close. Believe it or not, we were not quite finished with the day--we had one more site to visit, about 45 km down the road, but I'll leave that for the next trip report.

But I will say this...what we saw there was just about as exciting as the Cephalotus!

P.S. Total trip tally to date for Southwestern Australia:
Carnivorous plant species: 25!
Orchids & Stylidium species: 10!
