Two dudes:
Allen patiently waited while I composed this photograph of the two of us, near the white sand site.
I have spoken quite glowingly about Allen on this trip. After all, we had a fabulous time
together, Beth and I were on our vacation, and Allen was a gracious host. And really, meeting and
spending time with him was a pleasure and even honor.
Allen is a very energetic and colorful character. He is a man driven by an intense passion for plants, he is fascinated by
them, he loves them, and he is concerned about their long-term survival. He is in it for the plants, not for himself.
