Road work:
Unfortunately, when we arrived at the site, we found only a road-widening project. Drainage ditches, discarded tires,
construction gear, and oil slicks were all that remained. This view shows all that was left of the lateral drainage that was
probably once home to the amazing Drosera intermedia that Joe had told me about.
I am hopeful that in the future, the site might recover and some persisting
propagules for the giant Drosera intermedia might find the opportunity to reproduce. But certainly
the area contained little of value now.
