Straight inflorescences
If you are tempted to suggest that these are actually Drosera intermedia plants,
I note that the three red inflorescences in this image emerge more or less vertically from
the centers of the plants.
Meanwhile, the inflorescences in Drosera intermedia
emerge more horizontally from the side of the rosettes. (Compare, for example, this photograph of
Drosera intermedia from Okaloosa County).
Of course, this hasn't stopped some people from suggesting the long-leaf plants are introgressed
hybrids involving
Drosera intermedia and Drosera capillaris that are
somehow fertile. Who knows?
