The Carnivorous Plant FAQ Field Trip Report -

Massachusetts and Vermont in 2006

Return to the Trip Overview

Pitchers:
I noticed that the pitchers were normal in their pigmentation, but were often reduced in hood size and in particular had a brittle character, rather like the feel of a Heliamphora pitcher. Quite interesting, overall.

Nearby, we also found Drosera rotundifolia and Utricularia minor. They were very small, and I was not in a mood to photograph them.
