Butterworts:
Jim drove us down the road. After poking around in the pine flatwoods he found a colony of Dionaea in wiregrasses. I was particularly pleased to see they were growing with Drosera capillaris and Pinguicula pumila.

The flowers on these Pinguicula pumila plants were small and mostly white, with a little bit of blue venation. They were not as colorful or vigorous as plants I had seen in Texas.

Some of these plants had recently been burned, as you can see more clearly here.
