Return to the Trip Overview

Ooh! This is too cool. Yes, it is a close view of a Drosera binata leaf, and that is pretty nice in itself. But down at the bottom of the photograph you can see a large green bug. That is a "sundew bug" in the genus Setocoris. Unfortunately, I was again using 3 second exposures, and the green bug moved ever so slightly during my exposure. Alas. But this is compensated by the presence of another Setocoris at the top-right of the photograph! And to finish out the fun, there is a third bug on the left side of the leaf, just below the white out-of-focus background stripe. Three sundew bugs! Cool!
