Lycopodium:
So, with about half a roll of film left and only about fifteen minutes remaining on my hands, I photographed a few extra things
of interest. Here is a Lycopodium growing on the forest floor. My buddy Michael Chamberland thinks
that it is probably Lycopodium obscurum. (To be
sure, he says he would need
to inspect some microscopic details that, alas, are not visible even on my fine-grain Velvia originals.) You can see from
the background that the fall colors in the forest were quite lovely.
