Return to the Trip Overview

Commencing flowering:
It was a nice hillside seep with dense Sarracenia alata coverage that appeared to be a little earlier in their flowering season than the plants at the other sites.

There were some signs of erosion below the seep which had me concerned, as eventually it will eat into the Sarracenia site. What will happen then, significant or not, I do not know. Perhaps the plants will simply surf to the bottom of the erosion site, as some already had.
