Q: Drosophyllum: various types
A: Drosophyllum lusitanicum (L.) Link is the only species in its genus.
As far as I have seen, all the plants in cultivation are essentially identical, with no significant variation.
Field photographs often
show plants that are much redder or with somewhat flattened leaf-bases, but I think these details are only a result of the plants
luxuriating in ideal conditions. I have seen the plant in several sites in Portugal and Spain, but the plants were quite uniform over
this range, even surprisingly so.
There are no established Drosophyllum cultivars.
